How to join our community
Welcome!
This page contains essential information about membership to Earth and Starry Heaven. Please read through it carefully before sending us a message. If you haven’t yet done so, consider reading our F.A.Q. page.
When you’re ready, send an e-mail directly to contact@earthandstarryheaven.org or use the contact form at the bottom.
Basic requirements and rules:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Live in Winston-Salem, NC or close enough to attend in-person gatherings
- Agree to observe common etiquette and civility
- Do not disrupt religious ceremonies or damage property
- Do not instigate conflicts with other spiritual communities
- Do not disrespect other members’ privacy by taking photographs or by publicly revealing association without consent
Questions for applicants:
- What attracts you to our community?
- Do you have any experience with Hellenic polytheism, in a group setting or otherwise?
- If not, do you mind sharing your religious background?
- Have you ever formally studied Classics at the university level or below?
- Do you yourself have any questions, or is there any particular information that you need from us?
Methods of communication:
We can stay in touch and send announcements by e-mail, and if you prefer, Earth and Starry Heaven operates a private Discord server.
Other information:
We can usually respond to messages within 48 hours. It may be possible to skip the application process if a trusted member knows you and can vouch for your sincerity.
